BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Director, is responsible for developing, evaluating, advising or improving information and documentation, directive management and management controls and/or obtaining a variety of management support services essential to the MWR operations to be integrated with the general management of the MWR Department. The MWR Department consists of Fitness, Recreation, Dining Services and lodging. Incumbent provides management support services and serves as technical expert in management support services. Responsibility for the preparation or approval of data for input into a system which does not necessarily involve personal access to the system, but with relatively high risk for effecting grave damage or realizing significant personal gain.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
? Must be able to make favorable personal contacts with all levels of staff and management personnel.
? Must possess knowledge of budgeting, financial management and planning.
? Must have knowledge of use of computers and a variety of software programs to include but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), Adobe Reader, etc.
? Must possess strong organizational and administrative skills to include knowledge of office file arrangement and the purpose and content of documents in the file, ability to file and retrieve information and maintain records in accordance with office filing procedure.
? Must be a positive individual, able to obtain cooperation and assistance from others to meet the mission of MWR.
? Must have the ability to communicate effectively with others, maintain reports, records and files and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
? Must successfully complete background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
