Harborside Sports and Fitness Complex proudly serves as the home of the Navy’s Human Performance Optimization Program, delivering an integrated, evidence-based approach to enhancing warfighter readiness, resilience, and performance.

Battle Ready “Performance Lab”

Our Performance Lab leverages advanced technology and data-driven insights to assess, track, and enhance human performance.

  •  Advanced analytics ( body composition via InBody, VO2 testing, Functional Movement Screens (FMS), and performance assessments etc.)
  • Intake and feedback metrics ( intake questionnaire, engagement questionnaire and daily-inventory questionnaire)
  • Recovery tech (Shiftwave, Theragun, Hyperice, hot/cold therapy)

 

Harborside Sports and Fitness Complex Hours of Operation

The Harborside Sports and Fitness Complex is a 24/7 facility located in Building 3477 (on the wet side, next to Pier 13), fully equipped to meet all your exercise needs. Authorized patrons must scan a registered CAC card to gain access to the facility during unmanned hours Monday–Thursday 7 pm to 6 am and Friday–Monday 7 pm to 6 am.  CAC card registration must be completed at Harborside during staffed hours, Monday through Friday from 6 am to 7 pm.

The indoor facility features state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment, an 80-yard turf field, and a full-size basketball court. The outdoor area includes additional workout space and sports courts for sand volleyball, basketball, and tennis.

General Guidelines:

This facility is open to all eligible patrons, with ID checks required for entry. Please note, guests are not permitted.
Eligible veterans must possess a 100% disability rating ID card, Medal of Honor, or Purple Heart medal, and present
official documentation upon entry. Proper fitness attire is a must—feel free to reach out to our fitness staff for any questions.
While we don’t provide towel service, we kindly ask that you bring your own shower towel.
