BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES This position is to the Recreation Division; Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). The purpose of this position is to serve as an administrative assistant for the assigned Sailing Center and/or Marina facility. Prepares and maintains required administrative reports and forms, such as Storage Agreements, utilization data, financial forms, procurement forms and invoices. Maintains a current knowledge of daily operations of facility, answer questions from patrons. Receives telephone calls and provides referrals to other departments, as appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
? Must possess and maintain a current state driver's license, as travel may be required.
? Hours of work will vary as required by the needs of the program to include split days off, evenings, weekends, and holidays. May be required to work early, late, and on weekends and holidays.
? Must possess CPR and First Aid Certification, or obtain within 30 days of hire.
? Must possess NAS BLA Safe Boating Certification, or equivalent, or obtain within 30 days of hire.
? Must successfully complete a National Agency Check or equivalent background screening upon selection and periodically thereafter as computer access is required.
? Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing
? Must meet federal suitability requirements including successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
