Each school district offers unique options for students in PreK-12th grade. Enrollment is based on the residence address of the family. See the Schools tabs below for more detailed information for your area of residence.

Student school enrollments are based on the residence address of the family. Some areas in San Diego are experiencing a growth in residential communities and so neighborhood school sites might fill to grade level capacity. Please contact the School Liaison Officer to inquire and get clarification on the school districts process/policy regarding the temporary overflowing of students.

Lemon Grove School District is located in beautiful Lemon Grove, CA. We are a Pre-K through 8th grade school district serving approximately 3,400 students across 8 schools.

Our school district was officially opened on March 18, 1893 when the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and Harry Wagner, County School Superintendent, approved the boundaries of the fledgling Lemon Grove district and separated it from the Hemet, Oak Grove, North Chollas, Spring Valley and Bloomdale school districts.

La Mesa-Spring Valley School District is a public school district in the East County area of San Diego County, California, United States. The district serves the city of La Mesa, a portion of the city of El Cajon, the unincorporated communities of Casa de Oro, Mount Helix, and Spring Valley. As of 2021, the district serves 11,400 students in grades K–8. There are four middle schools (grades 7–8) and 17 elementary schools (K–6). The district is run by a five-member elected school board.

The Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD) is a public school district located in eastern San Diego County, California, and serves high school, adult school, and Regional Occupational Program (ROP) students in the cities of El CajonLemon Grove, and Santee; the unincorporated communities of AlpineCasa de OroCrestDehesaDulzuraJamulLakesideMount HelixRancho San Diego, and Spring Valley; most of La Mesa, and parts of San Diego.

Formed in June 1920, the union high school district is overseen by a five-member governing board and operates 13 high schools (nine regular, three charter, and one continuation); a regional occupational program (ROP); and special education and adult education services.
