BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Supervised by the Regional Commercial Sponsorship Manager; serves as a member of the sponsorship team. Plans, organizes, administers and monitors the regional commercial sponsorship programs. Solicits sponsorships through advertisements, letters and personal contacts. Develops collateral materials in support of solicitations. Drafts sponsorship agreements and coordinates staff actions with the appropriate agencies. Ensures the development and completion of payment and fulfillment tracking, evaluation and follow-up reports. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- ? Four year degree in fundraising, philanthropy, nonprofit management, marketing, journalism, business administration or a related field OR applicable combination of education and experience.
- ? Minimum three years sponsorship or relevant experience with a proven track record in coordination and administration. Sales experience a plus.
- ? Demonstrated experience in producing fundraising or other events, and knowledge of principles and practices of events management and professional fundraising
- ? Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- ? Effective written communication skills, including proof reading for grammar and spelling, and the ability to write proposals, promotional materials and professional correspondence.
- ? Experience and confidence with public speaking including results-oriented phone solicitation.
- ? Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to organize workload to meet many long- and short-term deadlines
- ? Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background Investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
